to some, this will be old news as i have been obsessed with this youtube find for years. for others, this post may change the way you view the ENTIRE WORLD and its contents.
over these illustrious years i have also found this same lucky girl living with baby hogs, koalas, puppies, baby pandas, and my favorite- the red pandas below.
short version:
to try and figure what is actually happening here, is worth learning japanese alone.
someone, someday will tell me who this girl is and what IS actually happening here, but in the meantime, like me, you can pretend you understand.

True, this is quite possibly the most important video of all time...but CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TRANSLATE?!?!!
ReplyDeleteEverything about this is perfect. The set. The sound effects. The physical comedy. The actor. The "oy vey what canya do?" reaction after the tray attack. And especially the headbutt/romp on your face combo attack.

ReplyDeleteof course we enjoy the AFHV animals/human interactions too, but I've never seen anything like this in the US: a well known TV personality in a reality segment living with wild animals-- the script will inevitably follow the same arc that most Japanese reality shows do: shock-hijinks-exhaustion-overcoming obstacles-reconciliation/emotional excess/tears.
why do I still love it? 2 words: cute and funny.
